About the Artwork
He is the 68th Jadguru Shankaracharya, also known as the sage of Kanchi. He was trained in Vedas, Puranas, and several Indian pieces of literature. He was fifteen years old when he spent two years learning under pandits from Matha at Kumbakonam in 1909. Like this, he spent several years learning and spreading his teachings across the Indian hinterland. If you are a devotee of Chandrashekara Saraswati maybe this is the right artwork for you.
